Record Retention Policy
Abstract
Campbell University requires that different types of hard copy and electronic documents, records, and other sources of data (collectively “records”) be retained for specified periods of time consistent with university business needs and legal requirements, including, but not limited to, privacy laws, United States Department of Education regulations, and financial aid program requirements. This policy sets forth the standards and procedures for use by Campbell in connection with the retention and disposal of records.
