Academic Website Acceptable Use Policy

Abstract

This document outlines the acceptable use policy (AUP) for Campbell University’s Academic web hosting service https://sites.campbell.edu, which allows faculty, staff, and students to create and manage non-marketing websites, personal blogs, and portfolios. The AUP defines the scope, terms of service, acceptable use, penalties for misuse, branding requirements, use of themes and subdomains, and examples of appropriate and inappropriate sites. This policy aims to promote responsible and ethical use of the web hosting service, protect the university’s reputation and network security, and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
