About

Sarah Wade, MLS, AHIP, is the Medical Librarian at the Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine at Campbell University. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in History Education from Mars Hill College in Mars Hill, NC and her Master in Library Science from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC.

She is a member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP) as well as being a member of the North Carolina Library Association, the American Library Association, the Medical Library Association (MLA), the Mid-Atlantic Regional Chapter (MAC) of the Medical Library Association, and the Association of North Carolina Health and Sciences Librarians (ANCHASL). She is a member of the MLA Education Steering Committee, Nursing and Allied Health Resources and Services (NAHRS) Essential Nursing Resources list update task force, Education Steering Committee Liaison to the Information Services Curriculum Committee, Chair to the Nursing and Allied Health Resources and Services (NAHRS), Primary Investigator to the NURSLITT study, and is the ANCHASL Social Media Editor and interim Secretary.

Sarah and her husband Paul, who is a Quality Control Inspector for Flowserve in Raleigh, NC, live in Holly Springs, NC with their daughter, Caroline, and doghter, Emma. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and daughter, reading, playing with Emma, and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
