Both programs share being the first university to offer this pharmacy/business dual degree combination.
Dr. Boyd completed his BS in pharmacy in 1977 followed by his PharmD in 1980 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. His research interest includes community pharmacy ownership, pharmacy law, strategic planning, business analysis, financial benchmarking in community and hospital pharmacies.
Jim is married to his wife Susan since 1976 and they have 5 children and 9 grandchildren. His hobbies include throwing pottery, woodworking and tinkering with an old car.
