About

Mrs. Johnson is a graduate of the Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University Physician Assistant Program. She is a very proud two-time Campbell graduate as well, having earned both her BS and MEd degrees at Campbell University.

Mrs. Johnson has over thirty years of experience as a primary care PA. She has practiced in a variety of settings including family medicine, women’s health and rural health. Prior to her academic appointment at Campbell she was involved in PA education as adjunct faculty at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, VA.

Mrs. Johnson is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the Physician Assistant Education Association.
